The Ideas Are Worthless conference is a forum to connect, educate, and inspire every attendee towards execution. Hosted by Black Founders Startup Ventures. The conference will bring together a diverse perspective of tech entrepreneurship, while providing a platform for emerging companies, entrepreneurs, and investors to connect and take action.
The program will include panelists (including investors, CEOs, entrepreneurs, engineers) sharing insights into startup fundraising, how to fail and still succeed, investment strategies, targeting customers, running a company, new startup trends, and finding technical talent for your startup. Startup Clinic: The Startup Clinic will allow entrepreneurs to meet one on one with investors and prominent entrepreneurs to receive feedback on their startup and pitch. Access to signups for Startup Clinic will emailed with your eventbrite confirmation. First Come First Served. Conference Job Board: Are you looking for a co-founder, a startup to join, or looking for additional team members for your startup? If so, you will want to take part in our startup job fair. Participants of the conference have access to apply for jobs in tech all over the country. Check out our job board to see what opportunities are available for conference attendees. Pitch Party. The pitch party is an opportunity for you to pitch your company to investors and the general public. Five companies will be choose to pitch their idea live during the conference. To participate in the Pitch Party here. Only people attending the conference will be allowed to pitch.
